Do flex?
Had to change a flat the other day and when I jacked up the truck, it had massive chassis flex. And to get started I lifted on lower a arm not chassis. anybody else have this issue. not trying to make a g machine. but this much twist is torque loss at the wheels.

Re: Do flex?
The frame is built like a ladder. It is easy to twist. And triangles to make it stiffer.

Re: Do flex?
Almost all ladder frame vehicles flex. They usually use some of that flex to absorb road fluctuations. So when you see a drag racer that doesn't run that quick but has a roll cage, that's why. They use the cage to create rigidity in the frame.Adding triangles will stop "racking" but not actual flex.Unless they are triangulated to help strengthen and solidify the cage.
