Re: My green 1976 GMC C15 454

nice 74 chevelle we are still in the building stages on the el camino right now it has a 10.75:1 468 and 2sp glide and moser 9" with ladder bars

we are pretty much gutting the car and making aluminum door panels and bedfloor, we just finished up the roll cage last week.

the car is not perfect but it is a good start but this motor in it is just temporary, but i am still looking for ideas on the next motor hoping to go 10.xx or as close to 9.9x as i can get

Re: My green 1976 GMC C15 454

the heads are just the little 236 peanut ports no one likes but i had them ported and polished and we picked up almost 60cfm on the intake side i dont remember the exact numbers but i mainly just cruise it. its by no means fast at all but it surprises alot of people on the street i shift at about 4500-4700 and on street tires it will spin all through 1st and 2nd but with warmed up drag radials it wont spin at all.

Love the color as well > just don't see any that color scheme > Hey your time in the 1/4 mile is not bad for these heavy , non aerodynamic trucks !
Am trying to get in the 13's myself .
