Re: shaving???
filler panels for the smaller stuff would be easy to make, its all flat. Even if you did find someone that sold them you could of made it all your self with a 24"x24" piece of sheet metal for cheaper.

Re: shaving???
mar-k makes the best filler pannels. I tried the egay ones and a few others and none fit as well as the mar-k ones. I also have their roll pan. I have been to there shop here is okc and i must say they do some research on their parts. I was told by them (4yr ago) that if i wanted something special made they could do it too.

Re: shaving???
like people said...get some sheetmetal and cut your own peices. the best way to do it is to put a piece of masking tape over each hole and then use your pencil to kind of trace the inside of the hole. you will know where the metal starts and ends. then cut the tape out and stick it on the sheetmetal then tin snip it out. it doesnt need to be perfect as your weld will compensate for a little gap. i would cut them all out then tack on each side of the door handle piece then move to the key hole then move to other door and do a tack here and there. never weld too much at one time because it will warp the door pretty quick. i would say the welding would only take an hour for all the pieces,if everything is cut and ready to weld in. make sure to prime the back side of the sheetmetal so it doesnt rust. you can get weld-thru-primer

Re: shaving???
what gauge metal should be used?
i've read that I should use .023 wire in my mig welder with a low setting is that correct? |

Re: shaving???
as close to the metal thickness of the metal surronding the hole. use a low setting on your welder and after you put a tack on, look on the inside of your door for signs of heat to make sure the weld penetrated or else it will just come off. also when you grind the welds dont grind all at one time because you can warp the metal that way also
