I am in need of a passenger side locking mechanism for bench seat slider. I bought a seat from a junk yard that has the drivers side parts and the connecting wire, but no locking mechanism on the passenger side.

Your help is appreciated.

Not sure just what it is your needing but "think" you are referring to the small stamped metal locking bar or tab that hooks to the seat adjustment wire and engages the lock slot on passenger side seat track. Looks somewhat like a small " key " ? Might help if you could do a pic to be sure we're on the same page. Pretty sure I have one in my parts stash in the shed. If that is what you seek it's yours FREEBIE style, just let me know.

Yes, it is the key looking thing. I am sure it has a better name, but we are on the same page. Like I said, I have the wire but nothing past that. I need the key, the spring, and the tab piece that the wire hooks into. Thanks a lot. I will PM you my address.

Metalspatter, Have looked and looked but can not locate the " slider key '' seat part. I'm sure I did not get rid of it, will continue to look. Sorry to have jumped in there saying I had one and then can't produce it.
