I cant remember where I saw it but is it true that 67 chevy fleetside tailgates are different from 68-72? If so, what are the differences and are they harder or easier to find than 67-68 gmc fleetside tailgates?

I have not heard anything about the tailgates being any different on 67's...GMC or Chevy. Im sure they would be hard to find if so.

67, 68, and possibly 69 had just a slightly different stamping. Most people would never know and i don't think it changes value at all.

Someone else will probably post (I think it was Rick or Tyler that had shown the difference in a post a while back), but there is a stamping difference at the outer side edges on the inside of the tailgate.
