Factory shoulder belts?
I am looking at buying a 72 suburban in another state and the guy emailed me some pics, it surprised me to see it had the shoulder belt option, I know these were rare on trucks but were they more popular on burbs?

BLAZERMAN
I saw a set in a suburban the other day and the shoulder belt was only on the drivers side the passenger side was a retractable one like a regular truck. I think they were that way due to the third door configuration. Maybe some of the burb guy's can straighten me out on this.

Thought I would point out that the glove box model # says that it is a 1970 Suburban not 1972, and the front to rear roof A/C was last used in 1971.

belts
The factory shoulder belts i have came out of a suburban ambulance and BOTH sides are the same. Spec'd for belts on the glovebox as well. Rob, you have to own that gem. You'll be kickin yourself later otherwise....
