Pro street, introduction
I havent been on here in a few years, but I'm back now to do some info searching. I almost always found the info I needed on this board.
Anyway, my dad gave me his old project, an '81 rcsb. Its done in the engine compartment, but it needs some small repairs... door poppers dont work, those tail lights suck ( and dont work properly at that), has a few small rust spots...etc. It was built about 8 years ago-ish and has about 1500 miles on the build as far as i know. I dont know a whole lot of the details yet because i havent gotten the papers and reciepts from him yet... here's a few pics |

Good looking ride, you nailed the stance if you ask me. It's aggressive, but not too low. Let's see what it has under the hood!

Re: Pro street, introduction
Im in Chesterfield...
I believe it is just a 383, but it will turn those tires if you punch it! i will have to get some more pics after the weekend, (work night shift) the tubs the previous owner put in are ridiculously huge I did get one problem fixed today, the plate holder tag light wasnt working. I figured out why, its never been hooked up! And the wiring for the tails is a mess, so i'll have to straighten that out when i change those lights. |

That's a hellava return !!!
Truck looks awesome.... And my favorite color too ! I'd just as soon gander and drool over a Pro-Street'er than a frame layer....

Re: Pro street, introduction
Sorry its dirty, still havent had a chance to clean it up yet. I got the stack of papers for the truck though.
It was actually built 2 times, the most recent in '00, so the build was started 11 years ago. Been sitting in my dads shop for about 8 of those. He bought it incomplete. (no exhaust, plus other small things) The guy that built it has receipts totalling over $12k, plus the little my dad put in it to get it on the road. |
