Today I modified rear crossmember for mustang gas tank. I used a 2 x 2 angle iron. Sorry about the bad pics the camera died had to use phone

Outstanding work. Did you cut and weld in the angle iron so the lip of the tank had a place to sit? What year tank is that for? I've got to start taking more pictures. I always seem to forget to take the before shots of mine.

Yes the crossmember was cut out to get rid of swoop and it gives the rear of tank a place to bolt on flush fit. It is a 1967 mustang tank new on ebay I think I paid less than $50. here is a link wih better pics than mine.
