1 Ton suspension swap

Do the same rules apply about swapping suspension on 1 tons as on the C10's?
I have a 67 C30 2WD that I want to upgrade to disc brakes, power steering, and a better rear diff. There is a 1987 donor available that I believe will work.

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Yes, same guidlines apply. The rear might be a little different based on the width between the leafs of 67-72 DRW trucks vs 73-87's.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
