Clutch/Brakes pedal assy interchange?

Will the pedal assembly(clutch and brake) from a '77-9 work in an '82? I have a 1982 Chevy Silverado 30 w/ 6.2 diesel,TH400 and am wanting to swap in a SM465 4spd. I have the hump and pedals already, just need to know if they will work. Also did the early 6.2 have manual linkage? Thanks

Now I am talking diesel.....6.2 to be exact. Will the Z-Bar from a gas engine work?
