Carpet Stripes
Can anyone ID these stripes? They were stash in my barn for many years. I think - two rear carpet hold-downs, one front carpet hold-down and two side panel trim pieces. Was I close??

Re: Carpet Stripes
Thats what they look like to me too. Are they for your build? If you were to sell them I would be interested. I know that this isn't the forsale section though.
p.s. love the blazer

Re: Carpet Stripes
I would be interested in the first one on the lift if you want to sell it.

Re: Carpet Stripes
The one on the left (front carpet hold down), is that year specific? I got one out of a '72. And I've never been sure it is really "stock". Other than that I've only seen what looks like the rear carpet hold down on the front. I've always thought that front and back strips were the same or at least similar.

Re: Carpet Stripes
Thats what I'm trying to figure out. I know what a rear carpet hold down looks like - got two. I'm sure of the side panel trim - got two. But the last angle peice has me wondering. I know all pieces came out of 69-72 Blazers over the years. The piece is stainless steel material, no abrasive cuts on ends, same length as the carpet stripes. Hmm... Is it for real? 72 front carpet holdown strip!!?

Re: Carpet Stripes
I feel lucky! Those are hard to come by. Thanks for the help. I guess the next question would be: Are the same stripes used for carpet and rubber matting? I have a the OE rubber grooved mat under a AM Blazer rubber mat.

Re: Carpet Stripes
I think the stainless steel one is for carpet and the chrome ones are better for the rubber mat and I dont think they are stainless because they do rust they may be powter coated

Re: Carpet Stripes
The pickup bed Stainless strips work well, are close enough in appearence and a fairly cheap alternative;
