My new toy! 72 Jimmy

Hey all! Thought I'd share my new toy... We named it Jimbo (after the crazy gun nut uncle on South Park since this will be our gun shooting / hunting rig... "Shoot it Ned! It's coming right at us!!!")
This is my first Blazer / Jimmy, so I'm doing lots of reading and research. It's pretty darn dry overall, with just some rust under the battery (of course) and the rocker under the driver door. Everything else seems to be in great shape including the frame boxes. It needs some interior work, but mostly just cleanup stuff from what I've found so far.

Thanks to everyone who gave me some feedback on the SPID when I was looking into buying it a few weeks back!!!

Looks nice (too nice for a huntin' rig in my opinion). I see AC and it looks like cruise control.

Re: My new toy! 72 Jimmy

Ya, it has had cruise control rigged up at some point, but it isn't currently working. It is all set up for A/C but is missing the compressor. Which I conveniently have waiting patiently on a shelf in my garage... The paint is actually pretty rough on it. At some point someone appears to have done a home paint job and actually painted around the lower moldings. The PO took the molding off so now there is a light blue stripe of the original paint in the midst of all the dark blue... I'm going to order a new set, but I'll probably do a driver respray on it in the spring. I want to pull the top and repaint it as well as it is pretty discolored and dirty. Mostly little stuff though...
