Looking for pics of 2wd suburban with 31 inch tires
Hey guys, I have an opportunity to trade some super swampers for a set of 31's for my 87 2wd suburban.
I had an 83 k10 4wd years ago I put 31's on and it looked much better than the 235's, but it was 4wd. Has anyone come across a 2wd non lifted with 31's and has pics? Do they fit? |

Re: Looking for pics of 2wd suburban with 31 inch tires
Hey Crisco,
This is my 1984 Sub non lifted and stock rims with BFG 31x10.50x15 tires. They fit good. In fact, I think the back wheels look small. A buddy of mine has a '85 sub 2wd with 33"s and a 2.5" lift and it looks much better. I am going to try and fit a pair of 33"s on the back without any lift. Steve |

That tan one, is that the 31's or the 33's?

The tan one is 33's. The black one runs on 31's.
I'm pretty sure the 33's will fit on the back without lifting the suspension. On the front I'm not so sure... |

Do you have a side shot of the 31's?
The 33's do look too big. They fill the wheel wells nice but I would be worried about them rubbing the front. Why does chevy always go with huge square wheel wells and tiny tires? Still to this day on their new stuff it looks weird. You don't see square wheel wells on cars. Why trucks? It's a round tire, don't make it sit in a square opening. |

I have 31s on my 1989 C1500 Silverado. Fits just right, though the back looks kinda small. Use to have 265-75R15s in the back of it before I put 31s all around and it looked sick!
