72 radiator shroud question
250 6 cylinder, no options, plane jane. There is a small shroud on top of the radiator. Shouldn't there be a fan shroud? Anybody got one for sale?
thanks, |

Re: 72 radiator shroud question
The only "shroud" that the I6 had was the little curved plate on the top. It did not have a full shroud as I understand it. My all original truck does not have one either.

Re: 72 radiator shroud question
My '67 with a L6 only had the small plate above the fan, I thought it was to keep things from getting into the fan from the top.
I don't know for sure, but I have heard that a L6 with airconditioning have a regular shroud.

Re: 72 radiator shroud question
My friend bought an original 68 truck from original owner untouch, so said. It's an L6 Auto with no A/C or PS even though it's a CST . Well, it has a full shroud that looks like the one used on a v8. I tried using a v8 shroud with my 67 L6 but it rubbed. Never compared the difference as of yet . I like the full shroud look. I been also looking for one. I'm in no way wanting to step on your post I'm just saying I know there out there i seen it.
