Re: Steering Column Lubrication

Pull horn cap off
Remove horn assembly
Loosen steering nut
Attach Steering wheel puller ($14 at pep boys. Get straight 2 bolt adapter)
Remove steering wheel exposing the turn signal cam.
The upper bearing is in the mechanism.
If you want remove the 3 screws holding it in place. And remove the housing
Behind is access to the steering shaft and other gear....
Clean and lubricate.

I needed to replace my upper bearing($20) and ended up just replacing my whole turn signal mechanism($39) it helped clean up the play in my column and smoothness in steering.
