Stepsides did not have backup lights in the fenders...did they ..? Also not ready to jump in and drive is an understatement,.... and where the hell is Yermo...

yermo is just outside of Barstow, CA - right by the USMC loggie base. It's about halfway between death valley and vegas. A real hot spot, so to speak... (i.e. just like the place I live)

1966 stepside fenders did have an embossment on the fenders for Back Up Lamps. 60-65 had a wedge rubber gasket between the fender and the metal housing of the Back Up Lamps.
