sweptline dodge anyone?
i talked my dad into buying a 4 door 66 dodge last fall. we havent worked on it all summer, so all summer the 66 cab sat ontop of a 89 dodge deisel frame. finally last weekend we cut the firewall out of the 66 cab and set it down on the 89s firewall so we could keep the steering wheel/ brake/gas/heater box and ac everything together. it was insane how well this lined up. we set it down on saturday and sunday i ground off the old cab mounts on the frame and welded the rear ones on, and we just kept the 89s front mounts/floor/firewall since the 66s front mounts and floor were gone. this thing is just falling together. today i welded the 66 cab on the firewall and with some sheetmetal work this thing will be ready for piant. i havent had much time to work on either my 69 or this all summer so getting back out in the garage has felt soooo good. anyone else here have a sweptline? how about a sweptline with a cummins? just have to check and write this to somebody. its just great to be able to work on pickups after such a long break

i've got a 60 Dodge Power Wagon. 4x4, four speed, flathead six. It's an amazing truck with a lot of potential, it's just next to impossible to find parts for.
