Question Ford 9" ???????

I have a ford 9" rear end out of a 70' ford truck. And need to know where I can get a set of saddle's for it to go in my 67'? Also what is the highest gear I can get for it? And what should I set the pinion angle?

i think the highest gear you can get for the 9" ford is a 2.08 to 1

I think the the pinion angle should be within 3 Deg.

Do you know where I can get a 3:07 gear or something close to it. I have a good 3:50 gear if anybody wants to trade. Thanks

You should be able to get a 3.00, or a 3.25 gear for the 9". most common in the cars was a 2.75 gear(mid to late 70s). On the pinion angle......with the truck on the wheels, check the trans angle.....if its 4 degrees down (example), set the pinion 4 degrees up. Good luck,crazyL

for the gearset check out ebay there's always a bunch and if you don't want a posi there real cheap for the whole third member

gears trade?

I have a 2.75 I believe, I will have to confirm it but i would trade!

What spline is it 28 or 30?
