project wanted in CA
I'm looking for a Project for a relative. Pre smog chevy (73-older) car or truck. if its a truck 1/2 ton 2wd short bed, car: no 4 doors. I'm not sure if would do a wagon or not. motor or trans not needed. Nor Cal area (sacramento and north) preferrably in the Chico area.

Probably not 'cause i think the gas mileage would be too low. unless there was a way to get some mileage out of a suburban with a 350/400 combo

same mileage
Burbs get same mileage. My best mileage ever in one of these trucks was a FULLY loaded burb on freeway at 65 mph (350/4spd/3.73 gears) about 15 mpg. Alot is about gearing and how you drive.

I'm looking for a builder project. preferrably something with non motor and trans or a junk motor and trans cuz there's a motor and trans already done waiting to go in something

the guy down the street from me has a 1972 chevy malibu chevelle, I think he wants like $2500.00 for it or something like that. It is pritty clean, I dont have much info. If you are interested let me know, I will walk down and get his # for you.
