Re: New member, with a new project.

Probably blow through on the 350. It's pretty easy to convert a Holley HP to blow through yourself, no need to buy a big name carb for $$$$. This first iteration with the 350 will be budget minded. If I LS swap it, which I most likely will later down the road, then I will use EFI.

Re: New member, with a new project.

Well, looks like the LSx swap is going to happen sooner than later. I just paid for an LQ9 not too far from here, gonna go pick it up next Friday. Not exactly what I wanted, but for $250 I can't beat it lol. its a long-block minus the tins but I can take care of that easy. Now I get to go scour the u-pull yards for a 4L80E I can convert to manual valve body.

Yeah I've seen some successful blow thru conversions, and I've seen some miserable failures. I bought mine from c&s specialties. Would've had to buy a carb to convert anyway, so I figured I may as well let the experts handle it. One less headache. I'll be watching your build, I like where its headed.

Hey Centepide, what kind of seat belts did you order online? Because you said that the ones you have on that bench seat are old ones right?... did you order the original over the shoulder kind??? and if you did can you send me a link to where you ordered them?

Please and Thank you haha.

I ordered them from LMC Truck, and they are the original over the shoulder style. They are not exactly like the originals, but a big improvement over what the truck came with. I do still have my old ones, but they are very faded and frayed.

LMC Truck Seatbelts
