parking lights don't work?
1987, parking and side marker lights do not work. Tail lights, brake lights, turn signal lights, emergency flasher, dash, interior and head lights all work normal, just no parking or side marker lights.

Re: parking lights don't work?
Still sounds to me like a bad headlight switch. Maybe check to make sure the contacts are all good at the switch, clean them up if necessary.

Re: parking lights don't work?
My marker lights didn't work so I took metal and a welder and removed them. Less lights can be tasteful

Re: parking lights don't work?
i would pull the bulb, check for voltage... follow the wire, does it go to the fuse box or have an inline fuse.. if it has neither and goes to the light switch, then it is the light switch.. one hot goes to the switch and IF that is the only wires that have no voltage.. it is the switch..

Re: parking lights don't work?
87 it should go to the fuse box
could unplug it at the firewall , slip/wrap a wire round a fuse nib or wrap wire to both sides and try to test the brown wire should work from there(to the lights) just now be sure to use a fuse

Re: parking lights don't work?
thanks for the responses. I found the problem, turned out all 4 lights were burned out, just the turn signals were working. Everything was working ok before I painted the truck, can't think of anything I did that would cause them all to burn out.
