Project Blue Lagoon (86 crew cab dually)

SOME PICTURES ARE HUGE HOW DO YOU FIX THAT? well Its a really late start on the of this thread but better now then never. Bought the truck from a guy that used to make meth in a trailer that my best friend used to live next too, He had a stroke and couldnt drive it anymore he had some kind of shaking condition after the heart attack guy used the truck to haul trailers around a rv storage and was a concrete truck.

My Plans for this truck is a 4/6 drop and just to make a nice cruiser, throw a lemans blue paint on her.

Here is the closest pictures i have of her stock.

Ive done lots of things before i started this thread, i replaced the starter, altenator, carpet, dually fender, tinted windows/with alarm, drop spindles, coil springs, dropped the rear, new u-joints/center support bearing. Also i buffed the paint was severely oxidized before, on roof and hood. This pictures explains the hood the roof was worse...

Here is what she looks like lately.

Also while i had the coils out again i cut 1/2 of a coil off so now it has about a 4 inch drop in the front.

Re: Project Blue Lagoon (86 crew cab dually)

Did a intake and carb swap , bought the edelbrock 2.0 performer manifold with egr and edelbrock 1411 750cfm with Electrick choke. High output coil, new taylor wires and spark plugs. Im having a problem with a stumble with light throttle on take off, i changed out the float springs for some stiffer ones and didn't help, only time it seems to run good is when the air filter is out?! is my fram air filter that clogged, im gonna buy a knn for it hopefully i wont have a issue ...

I've had the itch for a 4*4 square too, I'm trying to find a crew non dually right now. Suburbans are CHEAP here, good luck.

Man, shame you sold that rig - it was looking good! Hope you find the truck you're looking for - know after my search that it isn't always easy to find a SRW crew cab 4x4 that isn't a total basket case... Keep us all posted!
