Identifying a front suspension
I recently purchased a 68 c-10 that has been someone elses project!
It has a 5 bolt disc front end, but Im not sure of exactly what it is. I have verified that it has lowering springs but still has original(?) spindle. MY project includes Original springs--but lowered spindles. Before I can order parts---I need to figure out what I have. Now---to my question---is there a simple way to identify what front suspension they installed? I asked the PO-he referred me to the owner before him--- he told me the truck had been redone by a guy who was now in prison and he bought it out of his garage-----He seemed to think it was a 69 front and rear. Since it is 5 bolt and disc, Im sure its not 69. I am also starting a thread about a spare rear end that came with the truck-----also of unknown year. Any help you guys can think of on the front end will be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Identifying a front suspension
Best way to let people ID your parts would be to post up some pics.
