Re: Chevy 100 years Vid

Now if Chevrolet's 50th Anniversary was marked by those champagne gold-and-white commemorative trucks in 1968, shouldn't their 100th Anniversary be celebrated in 2018? Not 2012.
Not that I have a problem with it. It's kinda like an attractive, mature woman lying about her age -- you get the impression that factual truth is over-rated. I guess they are using advertising arithmetic.
There's also a Wrangler jeans commercial where 2 guys are leaning against a red and white '71 or '72 fleetside longbed.

They started producing cars in 1911.. 100th is this year for cars. They didnt start producing trucks until 1918, making 50th anniversary truck in 1968 correct.

Re: Chevy 100 years Vid

I didn't like the fact that they only had a short section about the trucks after saying they were the money makers, but the section on the corvair was awesome!!
