need help?
i am getting a 69 k-20 and i want to upgrade the transmission and was wondering if there was any way to bolt a richmond six speed would bolt up to a np205 and if not how hard is it to install a divorced np205.

I cant help with the 4wd, but the richmond trans is very close to the lenght as a short tail 400 turbo (trans + bell). It also takes the same slip yolk as the 400 T. crazyL

i have a 70 2wd that is horible to drive above 55 and with my life changing and a longer commute i need something that will go on the interstate

The Richmond raised my milage from 7 1/2- 8 to maybe 11-12 mpg.......the way gas is going, it might not take too long to pay for the trans! Very seriously tho, my truck is a toy & nothing but....it sure cruises easier with over drive on those 4.10s tho. Good luck, crazyL

my truck is for pleasure and work and the $2800 may be worth the increase in milage
