Wiper Delay?

After purchasing the 87', the wiper delay has never worked. I just replaced/installed a new control lever which operates the wipers/cruise..and the wiper delay still does not work. The wipers work on high and low speed.

I happen to look at LMC, and there is a diagram of wiper system and seen that there is a delay wiper module available.

I was wondering if it could be the wiper delay module?

Any input welcome!

Re: Wiper Delay?

I picked up an 85 not too long ago & had the same problem, except mine was intermittent. I picked up a module on Ebay for $25 & it works fine now. The module is located under the steering wheel behind the cover just below the steering shaft.

Yep, I'll give it a try.

Re: Wiper Delay?

Just installed new wiper delay module. Didn't work out entirely. Now when I turn the switch to the delay the wipers move in a low speed but "no" delaying or intermediate. The wipers still work in Low & high speed. One more new problem, they will not turn off unless I switch to Mist mode.

Any suggestions? Bad module? Wrong module?
