Hot running solved?

Truck tends to run hot. 190 - 210 in normal traffic, 210 - 230 in stop and go stuff, hotter in standstill traffic.

I thought the problem was no shroud on the radiator. Rad is 2" to 2 1/2" thick so I thought it was either a 3 core or a 4 core and I ordered a '67 4 core shroud as a result. It came in today (along with new cab mounts and ALL the rubber for ALL the glass). Its too big. The holes in the top mount area are about 29" apart on the shroud, about 27 1/2" apart on the radiator. I can see a monting hole that is not used on the passenger side top mount. If you measure from the middle of that mount area to the middle of the driver side mount area it is .... about 29 inches.

Looks to me like my heating problems are caused by a new, but smaller than stock radiator. The more I look at my "new" truck the more I see to do. At least I now have a shroud for the replacement radiator I have to find.
