Re: 59 Chevy Build
its pride of workmanship, nice eye candy for the pictures, i'm suprised you didn't use a hydraulic throwout bearing, i plan on using this 1 from tilton with their clutch and brake setup- 3 master cylinders, gonna use the remote setup, can't get away from the racecar stuff, lol

Re: 59 Chevy Build
Thank you poncho and scott........................
Not much to show since the last pics, been working on the body, dash, and a few other areas that really don't show progress.................. I did fire it up today and man-o-man, this thing is going to set off car alarms all over this county.............gotta luv it.......my wife asked if it was really going to be that loud, and I said "no, it will quieter with the windows up"....... Here is one shot of the rear, just finished the 3rd member and tomorrow I will get the driveshaft made.................... |

Re: 59 Chevy Build
Very nice build.
You must have great knowledge of truck frames, as you have done a couple of them with higher horsepower. Would you still box the entire stock frame? Where did you locate your crossmembers and why? How did you come up with the design of the crossmembers? Any frame suggestions? |
