Will weatherstrip adhesive work for the grill bow tie emblem?

Re: Adhesive for Chevy bowtie
I'd use either emblem adhesive or double back tape, both 3m products. Weatherstrip adhesive never dries hard, stays sort of rubbery and stringy if that makes any sense at all. It's made to assist weatherstrip in staying locked on the pinch weld, and is made to bond stuff more rubbery than actual plastic.

Re: Adhesive for Chevy bowtie
I thought those bowties were held on with speed nuts for the 86/87? The 89-91 square body bowties were glued on though.

Re: Adhesive for Chevy bowtie
I know on my '83 it uses speed nuts to hold them on. I'm not sure why people hot glued them on. Broken studs?
