Re: 70 model 2wd k5 WORTH ?

I'd say 2-2500 as it looks like it's rusty and obviously those aren't factory buckets.....but still being a complete 2wd if the title/frame is good at least 2K....

Does it run? That could add some value to not parting it out.

Re: 70 model 2wd k5 WORTH ?

If your "looks to be in pretty good shape" is based on those pictures alone I am very skeptical.

Probably worth at least $1,000. Check over the rocker boxes good, windshield frame, floor pans, bed floor around the wheel wheels and the back.

Why is the drivers door closed fine toward the top of the body line but hanging open at the bottom?

A couple other problems include wrong seats, missing door panel(s), drivers door has rust through, and the hatch is completely trashed. Check the Blazer over real well.

It appears to be a 5 lug so someone converted over it at one time, unless it's a 71 or 72 with the earlier grill. Make sure it's not a converted 4wd.

The frame and title if a factory 2wd is probably worth $500-$1,000 alone. The roll bar will be worth $150+. Windshield frame $300 is no rust. Top worth $150 - $300 if a single-wall, you will have a problem giving it away if it's a double-wall.

If he mentioned scrapping....go in and offer 4-500 (scrap value) as long as the title/vin/frame/frame vin are good you're guaranteed to triple your money at a minimum....

If it's a true '70 2wd, then it's the rarest of the rare. Definately worth more than scrap value. Even if the tub is trash, snag it for the frame, vin and SPID.

Get a picture of the SPID.
I'm skeptical also.

yes went the other day. has alot of rust in the floor pans and across the rear. the top is trash. but tailgate looks pretty good. guy wants 1000. and if i wasnt building a truck right now and just having our first baby. i would try to get it. i believe its a 71-72. just someone changed the grill over. factory air blazer and yes it had the cst badges on it. but has a 305 in it. has alot of good but alot more bad with it

Did you get a look at the rear frame rails? Were they straight or curved?
