Are there any Blazers in FLORIDA?
I want to buy a 4x4 daily driver but I am having a hard time. All the ones on trader-Online are $10K and up. I am just looking for a $3500 and cheaper daily driver type. If you live in Florida or maybe southern AL or GA, please let me know what you find.
Thanks.

There is one right down the street from me but that is a long was away from you. I tried to buy it 5 years ago and they wanted $10,000 but they had a baby and it hasnt been moved in 5 years so im sure you could get it pretty cheap. There is another that has a big block and they have started restoring for $5000 or something like that. You will never have them all because you arent getting mine. lol

i saw a nice one here in daytona this past week she said her hubby wanted around $25thousand . i think your best bet in florida is to wait till the fall then go to webster, zepher-hills and the turkey rod run in daytona you should be able to come up with something by dec

Can someone post a pic, location & description of that link? I can't view E-bay from work. Also, what is the bid?

Here is the description from the auction:
VIN - CKE182F183216 ODOMETER – 02735 1972 Chevy Blazer K/5. 350 small block Chevy engine, mostly stock, not the original engine. Original A/C equipped, and most, if not all the parts are there, but A/C does not work. Has Turbo 350 transmission and. Transfer case is the original NP 205, and seem to work fine. Rear end is an 8-lug Corperate GM 14 bolt with 3:73 gears and an open differential (NOT POSI OR LOCKER). Front end is the original 6-lug Dana 44 with 3:73 gears and also open differential. Rear springs are stock with a shackle flip and 2” blocks. Front springs are 6” lift with a raised steering arm. Also has a 3” body lift, for a total of 9” of lift. Wheels are 15 x 10, 8-lug in rear and 6-lug in front. Rear have some pitting of the chrome, but front are near perfect. Tires are 15 / 38.5 – 15 LT Gumbo Mudders. They have dry-rot, and not much tread, but hold air and run down the road just fine. Overall, the paint is good (painted about 3 years ago-Viper yellow base/clearcoat), but has imperfections here and there (dirt, etc.). Not show quality, for sure not a woods beater but good for everyday driver. Some rust on bottom of both doors, mostly on pass. side. Has a shallow crease on bottom of driver’s side fender and part of door. Also, a small ding on driver’s side rear corner next to tail light, with paint chipped. INTERIOR…most of front floor has been replaced or patched. New front rubber mat. Front seats are in great shape (from a Volvo), rear seat has a cover over original torn vinyl. Newer Pioneer CD player. All dash gauges work accept speedometer (needs a drive gear for transfer case end of cable). Driver’s side window regulator binds a little (worn gears), but still rolls up and down ok. Hard top is in good shape, but corners have cosmetic damage. The rear lift-hatch is a steel one from a Suburban modified to fit a Blazer (not a fiberglass Blazer lift-hatch). Hatch is pretty heavy, but stays up fine when extended. It does not have any latching or locking mechanisms. The bed is in overall good shape, with a few repairs made around wheel wells and back edge. Also included are (2) Ground Hawg 38.5 tires with better tread than what’s on the truck now. Again, this is not a show truck, but makes a great everyday driver or weekend cruiser. It will turns heads every where you go you’ll be riding high in style!! |

The Blazer looks good however, even with the 1973-80 rear bumper. |
