Rate these door panels
Has anyone used these LMC re-pop door panels? I see they are now offering them in grey, which is what I am interested in. I am looking at the 70-71 panels, but I don't have the wood grain on the rest of the trim, so I am not 100% on that either. Anyone have experience with the LMC panels?

Re: Rate these door panels
I put these on the other day from lmc and the only problem I had was that I had to trim about 1/8th of an inch of the top to get them to go up and fit it the recessed part of the door and then had to make the bottom holes a little bigger were the screws go in. The only thing I didn't like about them is that the 4 bottom jokes aren't counter sunk so the screw heads stick out a little.

Re: Rate these door panels
black_sheep454, that is exactly what I wanted to see, that's not what I want my doors to look like. Thank you.
Tim Christian, do you have a link for PUI? My original metal panels are sweet. The PO had them powder coated, so they are worth keeping. I don't want the wood grain, so recovering them would be great.

Re: Rate these door panels
I would never consider buying fake imitation molded plastic door panels. '72 is the only year for hard molded door panels. The rest get vinyl and nothing else gets it in my book. I rank those panels with Kmart rash or JC Whitney junk. Get the real deal, like Tim Christian suggested.
