Gmc hood question
I have a 70 gmc that I originally planed to swap to a 68 chevy front clip but now I'm thinking of leaving it a gmc but putting the 67-68 hood on it. My question is if I change the hood is there anything else I have to change to make it fit and look right?

Re: Gmc hood question
You'll need to loose the grill surround. The 'eyebrows' on the fenders and the top bar on the grill. You'd then need to get a 67/68 top bar.

Re: Gmc hood question
I believe you would have to loose the upper grill trim. Poss change hood latch too. Loose fender eyebrows while your at it.

Re: Gmc hood question
What you'll end up with is a '68 front end since 68-70 grilles are the same, with only the different (removable) top bars. Finding the the 67/68 top bar is the challenge, unless you happen to know someone who has one laying around...hint hint
