Your truck is one of my favorites. I came really close to painting my dually olive drab after parting out the M1008.

Is there any pro/cons to staggering the rear shocks i know for the most part 80s trucks were mostly straight don't cant remember the 1-ton setup i would have to look at my axle but the new trucks also do this, does anyone know anything about it?

It's supposed to reduce axle wrap a little bit as well as wheel hop. It helps to keep the axle centered in the wheelwell when a bump is hit. My '83 K20 is like this from the factory, so I imagine this body style was all like this. I could be wrong though.

OP, from a fellow truck lover from south of your border, THANK YOU for your service! I have many friends in the service and it takes bravery and courage that others just wouldn't understand. I appreciate everything you guys do to help keep us free. Nice rig, too! I love the choices on just about everything you did. I wish mine was half as nice as yours.
