A couple at church did something similar. They planned a "sex party" (not THAT kind ) so their friends could celebrate with them as they found out the sex of the baby. The sealed results were given to the baker doing the cake for the party........nobody would know the sex of the baby until they cut the cake at the party. (pink cake meant they were having a girl, blue cake meant they were having a boy)

Yes, there were quite a few raised eyebrows as the topic of a "sex party" circulated through the church. It turned out very cool though.
