cab light roof help
ok so i know that the raised pad roof for the firemans hat lights have created quite an uproar at times and i am in search of a roof or a whole cab for my project that has not started yet, and i have found one. only problem is it seems the 15 holes in this roof were not enough foe some one. the cab is in a junkyard and is not on original frame, but directly in front of each light (firemans hat style) there is a hole drilled in the roof the hole is about 3/8 to 1/2 an inch in diameter and is about that far in front of the lights, looks to have had a bolt through them at some point and they are pulled out just enough to tell there has been a load on them at some point. not worried about tigging the holes closed i can do this question is what are they there for???? i thought mabey a ladder rack of some type but they are pulled outwards? thought of a camper but not sure of that either why would the camper cover the cab lights? there is a square hole in the back of the cab but it has a rear window this is puzzeling me any ideas? ill see if i can make it to the junk yard and get some pics. before the first of the week.

Re: cab light roof help
Maybe it had one of those ugly visors on it... I have those pads on my 71, and there are no holes like that.
