Need under dash pics. W/ a/c wipers

I am thinking about running a under dash master cylinder brake setup. Can some post some pics of the area under the dash of a AD with a/c and electric wipers. Like to see if there is room for all of this crammed under the dash.

These were taken from a '52 chevy Suburban, a/c side is tight anyway you cut it. Elect. wiper motor mounted in stock loc. but you'll have to deal with the brace that runs from the dash to the fire wall..
Why not just put a nice after market one under the floor on the frame?

Thanks for the pics, I have tossed around the idea of tci universal brake and clutch under the floor unit. Haven't seen anybody use it. Not sure much room it takes up. I like the fit and finish of the scotts under dash, just don't think there will be enough room for the other needs under the dash.

Parkwood shows the obvious reason they designed a frame mount power brake unit. It fits up nicely and takes no room from under the dash and on the firewall. Anice clean install.

Do you have an underfloor unit for the 59? If so does your version require moving the factory transmission crossmember?

Yes, we make a tranny mount that will work with our frame mount set up

I would like to see the under the floor assembly with a clutch. I saw your under the dash mount with a clutch on cajundraggers build. I like it, just don't think you can fit a/c or wipers with it. If somebody has pics showing them fitting everything I would like to see if possible.

On the under the dash set up with clutch set up is no problem and we have them in a few builds we have done over the years.We run a vintage air set up and we run a specialty wiper motor kit.Yes it is tight but therte is room for sure

Thanks for the help Scott's. My buddy picked up a ifs from you guys for his 46 Chevy. Nice looking setup! I pointed him in your direction after seeing a couple builds on here with your parts. I do not have any windshield wiper parts, so it's hard for me to picture the amount of room it will take. I will try to find some pictures and study a little more before I make my mind up. I will pm you for a quote.

Parkwood, what size diameter is the brake booster? Will your exhaust go under the tranny crossmember? Nice truck.

I have under dash brakes with a dual booster, electric wipers, a/c w/o defrost, fuse panel, all the gauge BS, and even a little room for the glove box in my truck. Its super tight but fits.

I used the mini unit from vintage air not the sure fit. The plastic underdash stuff is not so sweet IMO.

so your fine to go ahead and get the underdash brakes/clutch from Justin. It will all fit.

A buddy and I were going to try to make it down to tenn. to see your truck when you were down there, but we never made it.

where at in tenn? It got destroyed in pigeon forge. But capitalizing on a bad situation its now almost rebuilt with a/c and some other goodies and my model A is getting a blower motor!

I'll get a pic. Wont be till next weekend when I'm back at the shop.

a little 10" dia clean out cover in the RV park we were at flipped up under the truck and managed to catch every running board support, the front fender, the rear fender, and the rear bumper. It dented the door bad and sperated the a pillar from the floor. lots of damage for going less than 5mph.

it made me sick. mostly cause I drove it all the way from new orleans to millington then lawerenceburg to PF then wiped it out and couldnt drive it home.

it will be 10000x more fun to drive now though so I'm okay with it. We all have insurance for a reason.

I heard that man. I respect the attitude and the enthusiasm of the builder in you to tear back into that thing. Can't wait to see what you changed. Your pics of your wiper and ac setup is going to clear up alot for me so I don't have to use the typical learning curve of buying the wrong parts!
I hope to see some pics of the blown model A as peice it together.

the wipers i have are the electric ones that mount in the stock location...but instead of mounting them on the stock backet I fabbed a bracket that goes from a piece of 1x1 I have that runs from left to right a pillar and runs under the dash right at the bottom. My brakes tie into this 1x1 as does all the fuse block brackets and even the a/c.


the piece of 1x1 is the "key" as it allows all the backets that go from the firewall to the dash to be deleted clearing a path for the brakes and the a/c.

but this 1x1 wont allow the use of the vintage air "sure fit" system. My pics will clear this all up.
