88dually tpi covertion

Has anyone changed a tbi for a tpi in a dual tank dually? If so what problems did you incounter? Like fuel tank in tank fuelpumps pressure and the switchover valve pressure problems. I have a late 91 tpi setup with big tube runners 52mm throttle body, ported base and upper. Cam is out of the ramjet -383-marine engines and works good with the tbi I ordered a 91 camaro tpi chip on Ebay only because of the "vat" system in the original chip. Was told one could bypass the vat by grounding that wire but not sure how long the chip would work after doing that.
