Then we found the holes from blasting all the rust out of the inside the box ..
on to the wire welding the holes up and hammering the dents out of the corn and under neath .. I KNOW ITS NOT SEEN FROM THE BOTTOM ![]() But i want it looking right ... po must have had some issues ![]() Last edited by niterider65; 12-11-2011 at 10:27 PM. Reason: more info |

here is what it looks like after some twiking on it with and hammer still have a hole or two to fill and then smooth the in side with some metal filler or jb weld not sure yet or start lookin for another lower housing

just a little update .primed and por 15 the inside of the blower box today..
had to turn the heat on in the shop to get the primer to set up ... and took the sway bar and things to the powder coater today.. should have the stuff back next monday or tuesday .. will see no rush . ![]() ![]() ![]() |

heater box looks real good! Are you just brushing on the por-15. Looks like your getting good results with it.

Hi i did brush it on i went a little heavy on the inside to cover up the pitting
and brushed it on the outside ill scuff it up and prime it an paint it and build the box to get ready to put back on when i paint the fire wall ![]() it will be on there for ever unless i restore the tuck AGAIN in 30 years ![]() ![]() ![]() |
