Fenders

can anyone tell me how to tell the difference in after maket fender and core support I compared them to a gm and look the same they are heavy and and weigh the same as a gm did a test fix and the fit was like it was made for it the guy told they were gm and he had them for 20 +yrs in a out building

The new reproductions are hard to tell from the originals without sitting them side by side. The obviouse way is if they still have the GM sticker with part number still attached. If not, some of the spot welds look different on some of the reproductions. There are 5 companies stamping them out. Anyway if they fit as good as you say they do and the guy that you purchased them from says he purchased them from a dealership, I would say that the cances are pretty good they are genuine GM. WES
