posi rear code ??
Is there a code on the axle tube that tells whether a rear end is positraction? I pulled a rear end out of a '72 that is definitly a posi, but it does not list it on the glovebox door.
The code is : RHA W018 2 I found that the RHA is 3.07 gear ratio. What about the rest?? |

The numbers and letters past the first 3 are plant, and date codes. RHA, according to the GM master parts catolog is not a Possi unit. The following are letter codes for possi units in 72: RAA, RAX, RAZ, RGS, RHA, RHX and RRR. If you have a possi, someone made it that way. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
