3 sol. per pump so you need 6 total, stay away from sol. blocks they dont work plain and simple. 4 batt. will work but will need to charge them more often, i would recomend 6 and it just so happens that 6 fit across the bed nicely but 6 does weigh more. Do you know at all what kind of gears are in the pumps? a number 8 or 9 marz gear would be ideal with only running this amount of batts, anything like an 11 or 13 will barely move. i dont really understand what you are asking about what you can get out of a pin switch, are you asking how many switches you can wire out of 2 pumps? just remember run your switch power off the SECOND battery. hydraulic switches are 24v switches.
