Re: 1972 Cheyenne 4x4 REAR SWAY BAR

FYI payment sent. Thanks.

Did the factory offer front sway bars on 4x4"s before 73?

It looks aftermarket to me because the mounts look like they clamp to the frame not something the factory would do. IMO

Re: 1972 Cheyenne 4x4 REAR SWAY BAR

the sway bar was sold to Budman. thanks you guys for checking it out. it's pretty cool looking. I also checked on the SPID and there was no mention of it. it has to be aftermarket. i'll post some more pictures before i ship it .

Re: 1972 Cheyenne 4x4 REAR SWAY BAR

I researched and I think I have a close match for type/part number: Hellwig 7437, summit racing has a good picture of it. I checked the Hellwig catalog and it says: 73-87 Rear 4x4 sway bar. They have some decent deals on other sites. I might get one for my Blazer. I haul a med/large trailer sometimes. Good way to prevent the "death wobble".
