Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride
Had to back track some today. One of the front wheels center bore was completely wrong would not even slide onto hub???? Ordered a replacement so won't be back on the ground for another week.
I mounted the engine last night, the original motor mounts were located in the back two holes, the cpp mounts fit perfect in the front two holes and the hole in the cross member, the instructions said nothing about which holes to use, so I used the front two "WRONG". Took the enging back out had to drill a hole in the cross member for the lower bolt then replaced the engine. FYI original oil pan works just fine when mounted in the CORRECT location....yes now I'm the proud owner of a muscle car oil pan that I don't need ![]() ![]()
