Re: stereo/electronics thread
I would be interested in opinions on factory theft deterent vs. aftermarket alarms. I would like to add remote start to my truck and not sure if I should buy an alarm or add on remote start.

Re: stereo/electronics thread
My issue with the current set up is that when u want to search stereos or alarms ... There is no specific year to get info of. All years are jumbled in there together. I have yet to find a custom install on a 99-02 single cab. Or see the correct factory stereo opts for our year. What are our choices for remote start and keyless entry. My truck doesnt even have power locks so I need the whole thing. Power locks, keyless entry, remote start, and alarm. I'm trying to compare my options. Maybe some junkyard actuators will save me on cost, but do I need a certain system because of a bypass chip? The current stereo/electronics thread isn't helping my inquires.

Re: stereo/electronics thread
Try looking on performancetrucks.net , they seem to have more people post who drive newer trucks. This site is great for 72 and older imo.
