Question Right hand drive C10 ???

I`ve been looking around for another truck 67-62 SWB 2wd, nothing mint just in driving condition. My hopes being to put the old 540 out of my Monte into it. A buddy of mine tells me about a 69 C10 for sale, running but rough. Hey I`m always ready to go check out a truck, so I call the guy. He tells me its RIGHT HAND DRIVE!
Now it makes sence looking at a 67-72 dash, it wouldn`t be hard to imagine. Kinda curious if its factory and if so, how it turned up here.

So questions of the day:
Has anyone come across one?
Was it factory?
What area was it from?

By the way I`m waiting for pics, I`ll post them as soon as i get them.

Re: Right hand drive C10 ???

they were built this way. If you were to pull the cowl off a 'normal' truck you'd see a hole for the wiper post.

That truck is on craigslist right in NYC. I posted it here last week. A quick search will find it.

regardles, GM built thousands, if not millions. It's in the assembly manual too.

Re: Right hand drive C10 ???

If you could pick it up cheap, I'd entertain the thought of getting it semi restored. Then put it up for sale to our truck friends in Europe, since for them to convert is big money.

So you could market it as a road ready rig in Europe?
