jaros gives good advice...he's been here before. If the door lines up well with the rocker, then your inner may be too far in- that's too big of a gap, I think. The inner and outer were spot welded together at the top near where the weatherstrip goes on. This picture gives you an idea of the amount of overlap between the two pieces. So, your new pieces should overlap the same amount.

man am i glad i am done with rust....the most time consuming, dirtiest, bloodiest, part of the build. My head hurts just thinking about it, and every week another one shows up.

Thanks for the props, but i have seen many people on here jump right in and give good sound advise to someone asking for it. This is the perfect place to sit back and hang out.
