Re: SS pictures??

i'd take a 90's 2wd burb or full size blazer done up just your pickup, AnniesSS!

the Saab is a nice car/truck, but expensive to own and repair (like most imports).

i wish they'd had the SS package on the extended trailblazer. it is a more practical vehicle w/ space behind the third row seat, more stable while towing (longer wheelbase) and more aesthetically pleasing (i dislike the 4 door tahoe for the same reason....rear doors are "cramped" so give me an old blazer or burb).

as for lowering, the old SS trucks (and sport trucks in general) are slightly lower than stock for better handling and looks, but they still maintain enough ground clearance so you can use them like trucks (unlike the low rider crowd). and i like a rake on a truck which the SS had.

The Saab 9-7x SUV is just a TrailBlazer with different sheetmetal, so it's going to be no more expensive than owning a TrailBlazer or any other of the GMT-360 SUVs.

The 454SS is the same height as a standard pickup stock. Plus, just because a truck is lowered, doesn't mean it can't still be used like a truck.

Correct. Heavy duty suspension & brakes, but same height.

Re: SS pictures??

New guy here just joined the forum as you can tell. Heres my barn find i found this past February. Has 60,000 miles on it and hasnt been on the road for more then 10 years. When i got it, it was all torn apart and obviously not running. Put it all back together and putting it on a dyno this week, getting a custom chip made up as well.
Has a cam, intake manifold, pullies, exhaust and a few other things done to it. Hoping for some good numbers on the dyno, but the TBIs are dogs haha. they are pretty torquey tho
