Fuel Filler Neck
I am about to start my next "fix" on my '72 K2500. I am going to put a 31 gallon suburban tank between the frame rails in the back.
I would like to use a suburban/blazer-type filler neck. I want it to be in about the same position as the suburban in relation to the body lines. Has anyone done this? Also, where can I get a suburban filler neck? |

Re: Fuel Filler Neck
I got mine in the local pic a part.. Out of an 81 suburban. Took me 10 minutes to pull it myself.

Re: Fuel Filler Neck
No one reproduces the Suburban 67-72 fuel fill pipe.
Salvage part only, and average cost I see usually is between 30 and 50 bones online. Though you could probably score one cheaper at a yard IF you found one.

Re: Fuel Filler Neck
Isn't the 81 neck in a recess covered by a door?
