Swapping in a Cluster with tach
What would it take to add a cluster with a tach in a truck that does not have a tach? I know you would have to add a wire for the tach but would you have to rewire all the other wires on harness that plugs into the back of the cluster?

Re: Swapping in a Cluster with tach
i dont think so. If i remember right you can splice in the plug from a tach cluster into your original wiring splice in the extra tach wire and drop in the new cluster. i find it easier to just buy an a pillar gauge pod and wire in an aux tach.
